Five European schools are working for the project “Shared voices- building our common European future through staging national histories”.
Each of the schools chooses a national historical event which had an important influence on our common history, a play will be written in English, performed and recorded on DVD, then sent to each partner to be studied in the English classes.
This project website was created to foster the communication between partner schools and to enhance the multimedia skills of the students and teachers.
In history classes all the students of the participating schools will study the six national history portraits published on our website.
A “Partnership Dictionary” will be made, we will collect and present the basic words and phrases from the six languages which are needed to understand each other during the meetings and language classes.
During every partners’ meeting (five in total) there will be a performance of the host country’s history event by an international drama team. The participants will make use of the phrases out of the friendship dictionary.
A project play about the European history – “Shared Voices” will be created by an international team of students and teachers, the play will be published , staged by partners and recorded on DVD.
